90's Cartoons Available On DVD Part 3/5

Welcome to Part 3 of the series. This time, I will be doing Fox Kids and Kids WB. These networks had quite a large number of cartoons airing back in the day but sadly, only these select few cartoons ever made it to DVD. 

Adventures of Sam & Max Freelance Police (1997-1998)



Sam and Max Freelance Police spanned only 1 season with 24 episodes. The entire series got released on DVD back in 2008 by Shout Factory. 

Animaniacs (1993-1998)



Animaniacs aired 5 seasons, 99 episodes, and a movie (Wakko's Wish). Warner brought us the series on DVD back in Summer of 2006. The episodes are in air date order and openings and endings are included in each episode.

BeetleJuice (1989-1991)



BeetleJuice originally aired on ABC Kids from Sep 1989 to to Oct 1991 and was a huge it back then. The show moved over to Fox Kids on Sep 1991 until Dec 1991. The series ran for 4 seasons with 94 episodes. The complete collection was released by Shout Factory in 2013. The openings and endings are included in each episode. 

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990-1991)



Unfortunately as the title states, this is a "best of" collection of the Bill & Ted's Animated series. Bill & Ted ran for 2 seasons with 21 episodes. Disc 1 has most episodes from season 1 but 5 episodes are missing. Disc two however, has the complete 2nd season. 

Bobby's World (1990-1998)



Bobby's World ran for 8 seasons and a total of 81 episodes. in 2011, The MoonScoop Group announced that they will be releasing every season on DVD. Currently, they are amazon exclusive DVD releases and unfortunately, Season 1 appears to be out of print. However, the rest of the seasons are still available to buy for a decent price. 

Godzilla The Animated Series (1998-2000)



Godzilla aired for 2 seasons and 40 episodes. In 2014, Mill Creek Entertainment released the entire series on DVD in one complete set. 

Earthworm Jim (1995-1996)



Earthworm Jim aired for 2 seasons and 23 episodes on Kids WB. Studio Vei released the complete series of Earthworm Jim on DVD in 2012. The series is still available to buy as of 2018 for a great price. The episodes in this DVD set are in air date order and each episode has the openings and endings.

FreakaZoid (1995-1997)

  

FreakaZoid aired for 2 seasons and 24 episodes on The WB. Each episode is in air date order and each episode has its openings and endings. 

Magic School Bus (1994-1997)



The Magic School Bus ran for 4 seasons and 52 episodes. The series originally aired on PBS Kids. Fox Kids aired reruns on its weekday block from 1998-2002. Back in 2012, a licensing company called New Video Group released the entire series in one DVD box-set. 

Pinky and the Brain (1995-1998)

    

Pinky and the Brain ran for 4 seasons and 65 episodes on Kids WB. Warner released the entire series on DVD back in 2006-2007. The episodes are in air date order and openings and endings are included in each episode.

Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain (1998-1999)



Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain aired for only one season and 13 episodes. 

Silver Surfer (1998)



Silver Surfer ran for only one season and 13 episodes in 1998 on Fox Kids. The series is released on DVD in the UK however, it appears to be out of print. Currently, there is still no US release. 

Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper (1996-1998)

   

The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper aired for 4 seasons and 52 episodes on Fox Kids. These two DVDs consist of only the first season of the series which is only 10 episodes. As of 2018. Universal Studios, still has no plans of releasing the rest of the series.  

Taz-Mania (1991-1995)

  

Taz Mania aired for 4 seasons and had a total of 65 episodes. Only 26 episodes made it to DVD and as of 2018, there are no further plans to release the rest of the series. However, the entire series is available to watch on amazon video.

The Tick (1994-1996)

  

The Tick ran for 3 seasons and 36 episodes on Fox Kids. A live action TV series began airing in 2001. Unfortunately, due to licensing issues, the American DVD release of the Tick has some missing episodes. However, in the UK, every episode got released to DVD in its entirety. 

Tiny Toon Adventures (1990-1995)

      

Tiny Toon Adventures aired for 3 seasons and 98 episodes. The final season of the show was aired on Fox Kids. Unfortunately, some scenes appeared to have been edited. The Big Guy and the Rusty Boy Robot (1999-2001)

  


The Big Guy and the Rusty Boy Robot aired 2 seasons and 26 episodes on Fox Kids. Amazon released the complete series on DVD-R in 2016. 

Tom and Jerry Kids Show (1990-1993)



Tom and Jerry Kids Show had 65 episodes and 4 seasons. Unfortunately, only the first seasons is available to buy. As of 2018, there are still no further plans to release the rest of the series. However, you can buy the whole series on amazon video. The openings and endings are included in each episode and they are in air date order. 

Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? (1994-1999)



The series originally aired as part of the Saturday morning cartoon block on Fox Kids. Carmen Sandiego ran for 4 seasons and a total of 40 episodes. Openings and Endings are included on each episode.
