I have had this post as a draft since 2018 and I never posted it for some reason. But yeah, I think I'm gonna make this a new tradition for this blog and that is to make a post of everything I picked up throughout the year (I still gotta do this for 2024!). Hopefully I can remember everything that I got this year that was anime, manga, and video game related. I definitely got a lot as I do pretty much every year.
Firstly, I'll start of with my anime pick ups:
I didn't buy as much anime this year. My anime library is mostly complete that I want on DVD anyway. There are still some titles I want to purchase and complete such as the original Dragon Ball Z single DVDs. I'm still working on getting the entire set of that. If you're wondering why it's because it has the original Faulconer music, it's not cropped, and it has the original English dub that aired on Toonami. It's also the only way to watch the original Toonami dub. All the other releases after that have been redubbed and don't sound the same. I'm a purist for this kinda thing so I find that this version is the best release so far.
Manga:
I picked up some new titles for the manga library. There's a ton I want to read still but my problem is shelf space. >.> I buy what I can but I'm hoping I'll be able to build it more once I move out since manga isn't too expensive.

Video Games:

I bought quite a bit of video games this year. More so than I normally do since I'll be moving into my own place soon. I figured I should buy games as much as I can while I still have the money to do so. If I can build a big backlog of games then it should hopefully last me awhile until I'm able to buy something new again. I'm off to a pretty good start for building my video game library. My goal for 2019 is to build up my GBA, DS, and Switch library. I have most of the games I want for the 3DS. Once I've gotten GBA, DS, and Switch covered, I will work on building my retro game library before they become difficult to find/buy.
And that pretty much covers everything I got in 2018. I also bought a ton of 90's cartoons on DVD. I bought Pinky and the Brain Complete series, Aaah Real Monsters the final season, Care Bears (original) complete series and movies, Complete series of Tiny Toon Adventures and Wakko's Wish. Another goal of mine is to buy every cartoon I watched when I was a child. I'm pretty close to having a complete collection of everything that I used to watch. At least of everything that's out so far. I'm still waiting for many more shows to be released but I'm off to a great start.

Anyway, that's all for my 2018 pick ups post. Thanks for reading!
