90's Cartoons Available on DVD Part 5/5

Welcome to the final part of this nostalgic series of posts. I really enjoyed making this list and seeing what all is available to own on DVD. I hope you all did too! Currently, I'm still working on buying all of the DVD's myself. I still need to buy FreakaZoid, Bump in the Night, Gargoyles, Magic School Bus, and a bunch of others. One day, I will make sure that I have everything there is to own on DVD of 90's cartoons. Once I collect all of those, I'll be buying cartoons I used to watch from the 60's~80's because I grew up with those as well. Anyway, lets move on to the post of remaining cartoons available on DVD!

A Pup Named Scooby Doo (1988-1991)

  

A Pup Named Scooby Doo aired 4 seasons and 27 episodes. Every episode can be seen in these two DVD sets. Openings and Endings are included in each episode. 

Back to the Future Animated Series (1991-1992)



Back to the Future animated series ran for 2 seasons and 26 episodes. In 2015, Universal released the complete series in one DVD set. 

Captain N and the Game Masters (1989-1991)



Captain N and the Game Master aired for 3 seasons and 34 episodes on NBC. In 2007, Shout Factory released the complete series on DVD. Unfortunately, the series is now out of print and is difficult to buy for a decent price.  

Captain Planet (1990-1993)



Captain Planet aired for 6 seasons and 118 episodes. So far, only the first season got released to DVD in region 1 by Shout Factory. As of 2018, they have yet to release the remaining 5 seasons. Fortunately though, Australia has released the complete series on DVD.

Garfield and Friends (1988-1995)

        

Garfield and Friends aired for 7 seasons and 121 episodes on CBS. Every episode can be watched in these 5 DVD sets.  

Iron-Man (1994-1996)



The series ran for 2 seasons and 26 episodes. In May 2010, Buena Vista released the complete series on DVD in one complete set. 

Jumanji (1996-1999)



Jumanji ran for 3 seasons and 40 episodes. In 2017, Mill Creek Entertainment released the entire series on DVD in one complete set. 

Mask Animated Series (1995-1997)



The Mask ran for 3 seasons and 54 episodes. The complete first season got released to DVD back in April of 2018 for the first time. Unfortunately, the episodes are not in air date order but at least the episodes are available to watch.

Men in Black 



Men in Black ran for 3 seasons and 53 episodes. The series got released to DVD for the first time in 2012. As of 2018, the remaining seasons have yet to be released.  

Pirates of Dark Water (1991-1993)



The Pirates of Dark Water aired for 3 seasons and 21 episodes on ABC. Back in 2012, WB released the entire series on DVD for the first time.

Sonic The Hedgehog SATAM (1993-1994)

  

Sonic the Hedgehog SATAM aired for only 2 seasons and 26 episodes on ABC. In 2007, Shout Factory brought us the entire series to DVD in one complete boxset. Unfortunately, the Shout Factory set is now out of print. However, in the UK, you can still purchase the series for a decent price. 

Sonic Underground (1999)



Sonic Underground ran for one season and 40 episodes. The series got released to DVD back in 2007 by Shout Factory. 

Street Sharks (1994-1997)



Street Sharks aired for 3 seasons and 40 episodes. Cookie Jar 

Super Mario Bros 3. (1990) 



Super Mario Bros 3. ran for 1 season and 26 episodes on NBC. All 26 episodes are available to watch in this complete series set.  


Super Mario World (1991)



Super Mario World aired for 1 season and 20 episodes. The complete series was released in 2013 by NCircle Entertainment. 

Swat Kats 



Swat Kats aired for 2 seasons and 23 episodes. The series got released for the first time on DVD back in 2011. 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987-1996)



Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ran for 10 seasons and 193 episodes. Every episode can be watched in this complete series set. Unfortunately some of the episodes are out of order but the series is still completely released on DVD. 


And I believe that just about covers everything that has been released to DVD! If I've forgotten any shows or if any new shows have been released, I will make sure to update my posts. Feel free to comment below if I have left any out. It's such a huge shame that many of my favorite shows that I grew up with still have yet to see any sort of DVD release. Even some live action shows from the 90s that I enjoy don't have a release. For example, Journey of Allen Strange, Smart Guy, All That, 90's SNL, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Pappyland, and many others don't have a complete DVD release.
